Luxe Donates $1,000 to Making Strides/Team La

After a month of serious fundraising and special events to raise money for breast cancer research, Luxe Salon and Spa presented Lady La with a check for $1,000 for her team’s participation in the Making Strides/American Cancer Society walk on October 29th. All October long the salon offered a special menu of services from which the proceeds went to into a fund for Team La. The highlights included having Fox News’ local morning program highlighting the salon’s efforts and services on Oct. 13th (see video by clicking on ( Fox News Video). Luxe also participated in the Pretty in Pink event at Pesto’s Wine Bar (pestoswinebar.com) during which the professionals offered pink hair extensions, feathers and tinsels, as well as pink mini manicures and mini massages to raise funds. Luxe was also proud to hold its last event at the Higley Elementary Fall Festival, where the salon offered pink hair extensions, feathers and tinsels, as well as pink mini manicures.
