UPDATE: Fundraiser & Hat Drive

During our 5th Anniversary/Grand Opening Celebration this October, we collected money and items for Ironwood Cancer Research Center’s Boutique. The center has locations around the Valley, including Gilbert and Chandler and serves women and men battling all forms of cancer.

Thanks to everyone’s donations, we were able to donate 5 wigs, 42 scarves, 33 hats and $312 to purchase even more wigs for women for the locations near our salon!

We also wanted to say a special thank you to Maka Beauty, MoroccanOIL, Bumble & bumble, Goldwell USA, L’unica Beauty, and Éminence Organics for the product baskets, samples and support!

Our donation was no sooner in the door at Ironwood Cancer Research Center in Chandler (the location where our contact at the company works)  than one of the donated long haired wigs found a new, very deserving home with a beautiful woman battling cancer. Apparently long-haired wigs are in very short supply. She and the boutique staff were very grateful, as they like everyone to leave feeling good about the items they choose. The wig will be fitted, trimmed and styled for her by a volunteer so it looks as much as possible like her own hair and is styled to flatter her. We were so happy to have arrived at the right time to help this special woman and hopefully many others!
